Haven Collective — Concept
Concept · Elevated · Sanctuary · Movement · Made in NYC
A lifestyle active brand built on beautiful fabrications and elevated restraint — conceived for the sophisticated urban woman who moves through the world with intention.

Haven Collective wanted to move their yoga brand upmarket — toward the quality and quiet confidence of The Row. The challenge was real: Haven is a small brand without the economies of scale. Everything had to work harder. Every material choice served triple duty — elevating design, supporting a lean production model, and building the brand story simultaneously.

My approach was to consolidate their fabric range into a tight, curated group of sustainable base fabrications that would run all the time, with garment dye as a core strategy for colour flexibility. Elevated trims, corset and lingerie-inspired seaming, and cashmere blends brought the design language up to meet the ambition. Natural dyes by Brooklyn-based dyer Cara Marie Piazza (@caramariepiazza) gave the colour story a provenance most active brands can't claim.

All pattern making, production, and design in New York City.

Trim & Detail Direction
Trim & Detail
Delivery 1 focuses on waistband storytelling and feminine necklines — printed intarsia, contrast, corset and lingerie-inspired seaming at the waist and bust. Delivery 2 brings woven contrast and the perfect slouch. Stretch elastic in grosgrain and mesh sourced from Japan. Tie dye elastic and custom cording designed and sourced from Italy — the custom Haven drawcord runs across both deliveries as a consistent signature detail. Trims are the details that make each garment feel considered.

Garment Dye & Sustainable Colour
Future Proof
Six sustainable core base fabrications — colour-flexible through garment dye, sized for a brand that operates without large-scale buying ability. Future Proof means two things at once: garment dye as a commercial discipline — nimble, responsive, economically intelligent — and natural, plant-based colour as a different kind of currency. In a market where sustainability is claimed constantly and delivered rarely, the ability to trace every shade back to a plant, a place, and a process is a genuine distinction. Both are investments in longevity.
Garment Dye
Invest in a core fabric range. Dye to suit trend and need. Small minimums. Easy to pivot. Aesthetically extraordinary.
Plant-Based · Natural Dye · Brooklyn
Colour with a provenance. Oak Gall and Iron for the blues. Cutch and Madder Root for the earthy reds. Each batch is singular — made by hand in Brooklyn in small lots, with a traceability that synthetic colour cannot offer.
Future Proof. Earth Proof. Each colour is a story — of place, plant, and process.

Collections — the realized work
Collections
Made In New York
Each collection is a complete creative delivery — strategy, fabrication, design, production, and campaign, conceived as a single body of work. The photography doesn't illustrate the garment after the fact; it traces the making of it. Pattern room to textile, dye bath to atelier, finished piece to city street. That sequence is the social media direction and the advertising story — built into the work from the start, not applied at the end. A vision expressed in lifestyle: a reflection of the woman who wears it and the city she lives in.

Feminine Ascendant
Feminine Ascendant
A movement toward powerful femininity — designed to flatter and carry from studio to everyday. The campaign follows the garment from pattern room through the studio to the street, building the social story alongside the product. Japanese elastic in Dusty Lime as a signature pop. Natural dyes from flowering plant and iron.
02
Phys. Ed.
Phys. Ed.
American classics reimagined with craft and excellence. The campaign moves from the atelier — fabric rolls, dress forms, the hands of the pattern maker — to the finished garment worn in the city. The making is the message. Supima cotton, every detail considered.
03
Rhapsody in Blue
Rhapsody in Blue
The blue is both a product strategy and a point of view. Campaign imagery moves from raw dye materials through the dye bath to finished garments worn in the city. Highs and lows in colour make every piece singular. The social story is the colour's origin — and that origin is irreproducible.
04
Natural World
Natural World
Sustainability as design language, not afterthought. The imagery tells the full story — from dye plants and raw material through the dyeing process to the finished garment. Cutch and Madder Root create earthy, extraordinary colour. Italian-made trims. Each piece unique per batch.
